Plain terms.

How the Digital Switch website service works. Written to be read in five minutes.

1. The service

Digital Switch builds and runs a single-page website for your business: homepage, services, about, gallery, calls to action, contact details and a quote form, built for phones first. Blogs, online shops, booking systems and other integrations are not included and are quoted separately.

2. Price and payment

3. What the monthly fee covers

New pages, major redesigns, new functionality and integrations are not included. Substantial design or code changes are charged as custom work at the published rate; integrations are quoted separately.

4. Your content and claims

Digital Switch publishes what you supply or approve. You are responsible for the accuracy of facts you provide, including licences, insurance, testimonials and service claims. Digital Switch does not invent testimonials and does not verify licences or insurance unless separately agreed.

5. Ownership

6. Cancellation

Month to month, no lock-in and no notice period. Email to cancel. The service runs to the end of the period already paid, then the website is taken offline and recurring billing stops. Your own domain stays yours.

7. Enquiries and your data

Enquiries submitted through your website pass through Digital Switch so they can be delivered to you. Digital Switch keeps only what is needed to run the service and deletes your files 90 days after the service ends, unless the law requires longer. South African clients: personal information is handled in line with POPIA.

8. Availability

Digital Switch works to keep your website online and fixes faults promptly, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party hosting, domain or email providers.
